An excellent crowd of 400 people attended a very successful rally on Sunday 30 August  protesting the scale of the proposed superyacht marina in Berrys Bay.  Speakers included Genia McCaffery (former North Sydney Mayor), Ian Kiernan AO (Founder & Chairman of Clean-Up Australia, Patron of Friends of Sydney Harbour),  Zoe Baker (North Sydney Councillor), Bruce Donald AM (Waverton Precinct  spokesman) and Jilly Gibson (North Sydney Mayor).

The message from all speakers was that it is up to members of the community to make their individual submissions to North Sydney Council by 7 September so that the decision makers understand the breadth of community feeling  against losing such a large proportion of the scarce resource of open water which is available on Sydney Harbour, and in particular in Berrys Bay.

If you value this wonderful public asset please lodge a submission by Monday 7th September – details on can you help?
